QRI State Golf 2022
QRI State Golf will be held on Friday, 12th August 2022, at Keperra Golf Club Brisbane.

Reminder for players:
6 am - Registration and Breakfast (Ham n Cheese Croissant) in the clubhouse
640am - Player Briefing near practice putting green
645 am - Move to your allocated Tees - Men - BLUE Tees and Ladies - Red Tees
7 am - Play Commences
A,B,C,Veterans and Ladies - Enter card in system and hand cards to the scorer
Social players - Cards to the Scorer.
The course is still wet in some areas, follow the course directions as some sections are a no-drive zone. Motorized Carts - you damage it, you pay for it.
Out of Bounds or Lost Ball - Local Rule
If your ball has gone out of bounds or lost you have 2 options:
1. Rehit from the position of the last shot with 1 penalty stroke. or
2. Hit your next shot from the nearest point where the ball went out of bounds or is lost. This option incurs 2 penalty strokes.
If you are unsure the ball is out of bounds, you may hit a provisional ball. However, if the original ball is out of bounds or is not found, then the provisional ball is in play, and you would have incurred a 1 stroke penalty.
Preferred lie, one card length, except penalty areas.

Check the local rules before heading out, and listen to the player's briefing.

ANZRI Golf Carnival 2023 - Nominations NOW OPEN
The next ANZRI carnival will be in Perth, 30 April to 12 May 2023.
Nominations are now called for members interested in representing the QRI Lifestyle team at the 2023 ANZRI Golf Carnival, Mandurah Western Australia.
Nominations & Deposits - Close on 30th September 2022 (as deposits need to be forwarded to the organising State) and all nominations must be submitted with the required $1000 deposit paid to QRI Lifestyle.

Accommodation - team venue will be Dolphin Quay Apartments.
Note - Set Coach transfers times will be arranged for Sunday 30th April and 12th May.

The 2021 QRI State Golf Championships were held on 28th november 2021 at the Caloundra Golf Club, Caloundra.
A big thank you to all players who participated on the day. It was a fantastic weekend. It’s great to see everyone being flexible and understand with the date changes due to Covid.
