The QRI Scholarship Awards offer $20,000 in grants to help ease financial barriers for QRI members, or their children/grandchildren who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in Academia, the Arts, and Sport. Whether you’re excelling in your studies, making waves in the arts, or reaching new heights in sports, this is your chance to be recognised and rewarded! (Maximum one Scholarship per family.)

4 x $2,000 Major Academic Scholarships
The Major Academic award will be presented to the recipient in recognition of their previous outstanding academic achievements, clearly defined future academic goals, and aspirations to continue in their line of study. This award is designed to help offset future academic expenses including tuition, educational equipment etc. This scholarship award is open to applicants who have completed Year 12 (or equivalent) and have an OP/ATAR/equivalent score. Applicants for the Major Award must be currently enrolled at University, TAFE or equivalent recognised academic institution. Applicants can be QRI full-fee paying members (aged 18+) OR the child of a full-fee paying member from age 17 to 25 inclusive.
4 x $1,000 Minor Academic Scholarships
The Minor Academic award will be presented to the recipient in recognition of previous outstanding academic achievements, future academic goals and aspirations to continue in their line of study. This will help offset future academic expenses including tuition, educational equipment etc. This scholarship prize is open to applicants aged between 11 (Year 7) and 18 inclusive (up to and including Year 12 of secondary school or TAFE equivalent). Applicants for the Minor Award must be the child of a QRI full-fee paying member.
4 x $1,000 Sporting Scholarships
The Sporting Scholarship award will be presented to recognise outstanding achievement in sport, such as Queensland and/or Australian representation.
Applicants can be QRI full-fee paying members (aged 18+) OR the child of a full-fee paying member from age 5 to 25 inclusive.
2 x $1,000 Arts Scholarships
The Arts Scholarship award will be presented to acknowledge those who have had continued outstanding achievement in the fields of visual and/or the performing arts.
Applicants can be QRI full-fee paying members (aged 18+) OR the child of a full-fee paying member from age 5 to 25 inclusive.
4 x $500 Encouragement Awards
Winners of this award will be selected from entrants in any of the above Scholarship categories.
The Encouragement award is designed to encourage those who have shown potential in any of the above categories.
