12 Winning entries in total.

No more than two entries per member for this competition. You can only win one prize.

6 Categories

Modes of Transport

Capture any kind of transport from a bicycle to a train in motion, capture a windsurfer, planes, cars, boats or a scooter.

Just one Object

Shooting a single object can allow you to explore different viewpoints, compositions or lighting on one particular object. Note that whilst more than one object might appear in the image, for example in the background, the clear main focus of the image should be one single object, and no other examples of that particular object should be visible in the frame.

Portraits

Portrait photography is all about the face. A photographer’s goal is to take a carefully crafted photograph of a person’s distinguishing facial features while capturing the person’s attitude, identity, and personality. The photo may include a blurred background and the person’s body.

Landscape

Landscape photography is very broad - land or sea, urban or nature, big or small. It’s capturing an image that embodies the spirit of the outdoors.

Macro

Get up close and personal with your subject. Macro photography is usually associated with images of bugs and flowers, but even subjects like snowflakes or water droplets in the studio can make for amazing macro photos.

Animals

The animal world is full of amazing photo opportunities. The animal can be part of a larger scene, however the animal should be the key subject.
