Thank You for Supporting the QRI Sporting Raffle

QRI Lifestyle would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who purchased tickets in our recent Sporting Raffle. Your support helped make this fundraising initiative a great success and will provide valuable assistance to our QRI sporting teams as they continue to participate in competitions and represent QRI across Queensland and beyond.

The raffle was designed to support our sporting groups while also giving members and supporters the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who purchased a ticket, funds raised will help support participation across a range of sports including cricket, darts, golf, lawn bowls, snooker and billiards and tenpin bowling.

One of the most exciting outcomes of the Sporting Raffle was seeing the fundraising potential available to each sporting group. The most proactive team generated over $2,600 in funds for their group, while even the teams with lower participation still received a financial return. The raffle demonstrated that with strong support from players, families and supporters, sporting groups have a valuable opportunity to raise funds that can be put towards uniforms, equipment, travel expenses, competition entry fees, presentation dinners, trophies and other team activities. It highlights just how beneficial these fundraising initiatives can be in helping sporting groups grow and thrive.

QRI Cricket representative Lee McCarthy praised the initiative and the positive impact it had on reducing costs for players and supporting team activities.
